T2Red or T2QuickNet

When deciding between T2 Red and T2 QuickNet, it’s important to first look at what your requirements are and what may restrict your ultimate decision as to which solution suits you best.

Where are you installing the underfloor heating?

T2 Red can be installed above all subfloors such as plastic, concrete or wood in dry or wet areas and can also be easily adapted to suit all room sizes and shapes.

T2 QuickNet is a self-adhesive underfloor mat which is only 3mm thick. This mat system can be installed directly under ceramic tiles or natural stone. The T2 QuickNet mat is an ideal solution for renovation especially if you are looking to tile your floor afterwards, as the mat can be laid directly in the filler or tile adhesive.

What are the main priorities for your underfloor heating system?

Eco-friendly heating

If you are looking for an energy saving underfloor heating system, the T2 Red comes with an added option to included T2 Reflecta.  The T2 Reflecta is a pre-grooved thermally insulated aluminium-covered plate which provides you with extra energy savings of approx. 20% or more.

Intuitive heating

T2 Red is a self–regulating underfloor heating cable for reduced height installation. The T2 Red self –regulating system senses other heat sources such as solar radiation, electrical appliances and lighting and it automatically adjusts its heat output accordingly. This means that in the colder sections of the floor, more heat will be directed to than warmer sections of the floor. The T2 Red system along with the T2 QuickNet system have safety features built in, so you can be assured that there is no risk of over-heating .

Comfort heating or quick and powerful?

T2 QuickNet is offered in two variations, T2 QuickNet 90 which can be used on all solid subfloors and T2 QuickNet 160 which offers greater output and quicker heating up time is required. The T2 QuickNet 90 is suitable for well insulated floors and complementary heating whereas the T2 QuickNet 160 is for a fast heat up and poorly insulated subflooring.
