What is the T2 Red underfloor heating system?

T2 Red is an intelligent self-regulating cable that automatically adjusts the power output for certain areas of the system to ensure your whole floor is at the same temperature.

How does the cable actually work?

When the air temperature drops, the actual core of the cable shrinks and there is an increase in the number of electrical paths which can flow through it. With the increase in electrical paths, will come an increase in the heat of that area.

The opposite happens when the air temperature increases, the cable core will expand which will reduce the amount of electrical paths flowing through it, thus less heat is produced.

Who is it for?

The T2 Red underfloor heating system is ideal for those that require faster heat up times or an even heat distribution throughout the heated area.

Benefits of the T2 Red heating system

  • Fast heat up time
  • Reduced heat loss
  • Even temperature throughout the room
  • Easy installation with cut-to-length cable
  • Maintenance free system
  • Extremely energy efficient
